WOW...TRIPLETS! Congrats to you! I always hoped for twins! :D

I was EXTREMELY sick w/ my second son, and the doc put me on a med called Zofran. It helped me immensely! I still had the nausea, not nearly as bad, and it kept me from throwing up all the time.

I feel for you. I worked the biggest court case in my career the months that I was sick...plus had a husband, child and house to take care of.

Keep your chin up...this too shall pass!

Some people say absolutely nothing worked for them and to just grin and bear it. I managed a spa and found it very hard to just grin and bear it. :) I kept literally nothing down until I experimented a little. I hope the doctor puts you on something that helps!! I found that a few small tricks worked for me. Baby Bliss sells herbal tea that is made specially for morning sickness. You can order it online at cottonbabies.com and go to the pregnancy section. Also slicing up a couple of lemons in my water helped or just sucking them straight. Hope it helps if only a little. Morning sickness can be the worst thing ever. Congrats by the way!!!!!

I think any tangy fruits helped me, along with lemon drops. I also like to have VERY cold water, 7up, etc... I've heard those morning sickness suckers at maternity stores can do wonders, too, but I've never tried them myself. Have you ever had a remedy for airplane "blahs" that worked, like ginger ale? I am motion sickness at anything, including elevators, but I think any remedy is individual & trial & error is the only thing that will find it. Good luck!

Busy with morning sickness anyone have advice???

I've found that whatever I eat when I first wakes up seems to set the tone for the rest of the day. Peanut butter and bland foods seem to work great. I will eat a piece of peanut butter toast with a small bowl of cheerios or something and that seems to work well. My morning sickness has always just been nauseous feeling though. I've never actually thrown up (yet...) I hope you find something that works.

I am having the same experience and it is awful! I am 15 weeks, so I should be better and I am not. I got Zofran from my doctor and it helps, but my insurance only lets me have 9 pills per month, so I use them for "emergencies" like work events and fun family events.

There is a generic form of Zofran that maybe your insurance company will pay for...it's called Ondansetron.  I have been laid out flat on my back for days, started this drug yesterday and was actually able to go to work today!

I also went for my very first acupuncture treatment due to acute dizziness that I was experiencing and it helped wonders too...so check with your insurance plan to see if they might cover this type of treatment as well...

I found a wonderful cure for my morning sickness - Mommy's Bliss Morning Sickness Magic - after feeling sick for almost a month I took this product for 2 days...and the nausea disappeared!

You can find Morning Sickness Magic at www.blissbymom.com - it's available online, or use their store locator to find it at a store near you.

    Good luck!

I'm know 9 weeks pregnant and at 7weeks I have experience intensive all day sickness. with my previous pregnancy my gyne prescribe essential tablets which worked fantastic. I'd use it for this pregnancy as well and the sickness is gone! Essential tablets is a combination of Vit B group and phosfolipids and somehow it worked. he did gave me an explination on how the enzimes work and all that. But that does not matter at all, my sickness is under control.

My OB told me to take Vitamin B-6 50MG and Unisom (the one made fromdoxylamine succinate in it) I have only been taking the extra b-6 along with my prenatals at night and that has seemed to help me out a ton. I did not want to take the unisom because it is an anti-inflammatory like benadryl and it nocks me out and I have to work early in the morning so I cant have that benadryl hangover feeling. Hope this helps.

For those of you taking the Mommy Bliss Morning Sickness supplement, how many weeks did you take it through?  Also, does anyone know how many mgs of Vitamin B6 are in the daily supply?  Thanks!

One more question--since the Mommy Bliss morning sickness remedy has a fully daily supply of folic acid, which prenatal pill do people take with it?

Re: Busy with morning sickness anyone have advice???

I feel your pain..I too have been having the most horrible all day sickness and it's depressing me greatly.. I have to hide in the closet if my husband wants to cook.. cause of course he loves his fried food and i can't stand the smell of food cooking.. *sigh. He has not given up on me yet but I see him running back and forth to the closet to see if im ok and I can tell he's very frustruated at times. Squeezing a lemon or lime on a paper towel and sniffing it has helped a lot when he does cook. Most of the time i see him outside cooking in our small tiny grill even for his morning bacon. I feel horrible but i can't help it. I have all sorts of herbal teas that have helped a whole lot. specially the peppermint one.. I can drink that all day.  I've chosen not to take anything other than vitamins... welll i hope everything works out..
