I agree. Alcohol seems to cause more problems...But pot still messes with body functions....

Alcohol on the most part...BUT there is the OCCASSIONAL weed lacing... so you get weed laced with some funky ass drug and then you're hallucinating and shit...trust me...been there done that...NOT COOL! :?

I think both should be used responsibly, if at all.

I have never used weed, but when I did drink alcohol we always either did it at home, drank in moderation so we weren't drunk when we left, or had a DD. PERIOD!! Though, DH doesn't drink, so he was always the DD lol.

DH did use weed and other recreational drugs when he was younger and he says as long as you get the 'good' weed (meaning unlaced) its much safer than alcohol. But he deffinetly doesn't advocate doing anything under its influence!!

So, yeah I don't know. I also don't think you can OD very easily on Weed, unlike alcohol - but i just THINK that I DON'T KNOW it....

They're both highly dangerous! I used to smoke weed (not a proud statement) and I when I did I was in NO position to be driving a vehicle. I remember being high and had a few drinks one New Years Eve and I was so out of it that the ride to the club was VERY confusing and fuzzy to me. I can't imagine what may have happened had I been driving. I don't smoke at all anymore and haven't for a long time and I drink VERY occasionally. What ever floats your boat, but my opinion is neither should be abused and you shouldn't drive under either. I was a little less slack on this opinion before I was a mom but now I can't imagine someone either hurting him due to impaired driving or killing me and him being without a mom.

    Alcohol or Weed....

Alcohol is the only freely available mind altering drug (well in UK at least). More accidents, injuries and fights are caused by it than any other single factor. It also contributes to liver disease, obseisity and many other illness's that are proven to be directly related. I think one of the worst problems with alcohol is it realy is too easy to lose track of just how much you are consuming.

Alcohol doesn't change who you are as a person, what is does is take away your inhibitions, inhibitions are what make us a civilised society, its what stops us saying what we realy feel inside, acting out our emotions in a negative and sometimes positive way. Obviously alcohol also slows us down, our reaction times are slower, our vision is impaired and that when accidents happen. I am far from an advocate of drugs, i am strongly against them, but in the case of weed there has to be an argument that comparitevly speaking its effects are less harmfull.

I think that both stimulants used with caution are relatively safe, if only people were willing to be more cautious of there intake for their own saftey and others.
