How old is your preemie now? Destiny is almost 2 years(Jan. 4th)
How early were they born? She was born at 33 weeks.
Why were they born early? I had preclamsia.
How long was the hospital stay? She was in the hospital 2 days shy of 3 weeks.
Birth Weight and length? 4lbs 1oz. 17 inches
Weight and length now? around 25 pounds and 30 inches

How are they doing? Do they have any problems due to being premature?
She has no problems due to being premature.

How old is your preemie now? My twins are 6 1/2 yrs old

How early were they born? They were born at 29 weeks exactly

Why were they born early? Don't know? Probably just from being twins and I did have some very stressful stuff going on

How long was the hospital stay? 9 weeks

Birth Weight and length? Twin A (Mackenzie) 1.15 lbs & 13 inches; Twin B (Cameron) 2.8 lbs & 15 inches

Weight and length now? At 6 1/2 yrs old - Mackenzie (we still call her our peanut) is 41 lbs and Cameron is 48 lbs.

How are they doing? Do they have any problems due to being premature?
Absolutely fabulous. No health problems at all. We are very blessed. :D

How old is your preemie now? 18 1/2 months, 5 months

How early were they born? Both at 36 weeks

Why were they born early? Brady's cord tore from the placenta. I don't know why Rian came early.

How long was the hospital stay? Brady was thankfully fine and came home with us. Rian stayed for 8 days.

Birth Weight and length? Brady was 6lbs 3 oz, Rian was 6 pounds 11oz, not sure of the length (Written down somewhere).

Weight and length now? Brady is 32 inches and 27 lbs 11oz, Rian is over 15 pounds

How are they doing? Do they have any problems due to being premature?
Brady was hospitalized for breathing problems at 11 months old. We've made some environmental changes and he seems to be okay now. Rian is doing well except for a lingering cough. He used to skip breaths and we had a couple of times where the sensor monitor went off, but he hasn't done that in atleast two months. Overall we've been really lucky and they are healthy boys.

How early were they born? 34.4 weeks
Why were they born early? induced for both of our safety. My health was failing fast and I have blood clotting disorders and it was just getting very scary very fast for all involved. I had been on bedrest for a long time anyway and my water had been leaking for a while too.
How long was the hospital stay? 7 days
Birth Weight and length? 6 lbs 1 oz 18 inches (came home at 5 lbs 6 oz and held steady for a while lol)
Weight and length now?15 lbs about 26 inches

How are they doing? Do they have any problems due to being premature?She's doing pretty good now. She wasn't breathing when she was born, had born with RDS, Sepsis, and had to be on a ventilator but we haven't noticed any ill effects from all of that so far. She's just really small. She does have some tummy problems that we have to be careful with and that's about it.

Why were they born early? I had severe pre-e and she was IUGR
How long was the hospital stay? 6.5 weeks (the longest 6.5 weeks of my life!!)
Birth Weight and length? 2 lbs 12 oz and 15.5 inches
Weight and length now? 13 lbs 15 oz and 24 inches
How are they doing? Do they have any problems due to being premature? She is doing GREAT!! No problems at all related to prematurity. She is getting the RSV shot and hasn't been sick at all. She is now on the chart for her REAL age!!

Why were they born early? Trouble during pregnancy that the Dr. (actually the midwife because you dont actually get to the the Dr. missed).
How long was the hospital stay? She was in the hospital 101 days.

Weight and length now? around 13.5 pounds and 26 inches

She had a PDA Ligation and she had Laser eye surgery on both eyes due to ROP. But, she is doing just fine now!
