I spent what I will now consider the longest year of my life TTC after a M/C at 8 weeks with my first pregnancy. During that year I had intermitent cycles and kept thinking that I had to be preggers again, POS, and see the BFN. After a year of this pain I started Clomid. During my first cycle on Clomid my OB monitored the activity in my ovaries through ultrasound to see if it was working. After a day 15 U/S and a day 21 U/S they gave me a Privasee (sp?) shot to induce ovulation. Nine months later I gave birth to my little guy. Doing the ultrasounds with the Clomid allowed us to take all the timing guesswork out of the equation. If we hadn't had the ultrasounds we'd probably still be TTC cause I would have BD'd with DH at the wrong time (around day 15).
I was totally prepared to begin the process again this summer because I just assumed we'd need fertility treatments again. However, I had a wonderful unexpected surprise around Mother's day.
Good luck to everyone, I'm wishing for all of you to have BFP's really soon!!
