    Email Notifications Working

At long last! We've got the email notification system working -- so if you select the option to receive an email every time your post is replied to, you should now be receiving emails to alert you to that. If, for some reason, this doesn't seem to be working for you, let me know!!

I think I am still doing something wrong.  Yesterday, I made sure that the "email subscription enabled" button was selected on my messages, and that the "receive emails" and "enable email notifications of forum/thread subscriptions . . ." both were checked as yes before shutting down epreg, and today even though there were replies to the messages I didn't receive anything.  Can you tell me what I am doing wrong?  Thanks!

hm -- i think there are actually a couple of places where you can opt-in to the notifications -- did you enable it in your profile as well as on your messages?

also, check your spam/junk folder -- a lot of times our emails get held up there!

Yeah, I thought I had it right in my profile as I had done this:

    Clover:

the "receive emails" and "enable email notifications of forum/thread subscriptions . . ." both were checked as yes

I don't seem to have anything in my bulk e-mail folders either so I don't know what I am doing wrong.  Huh?

    well, crap!

i wonder if we are all only getting ours because we are internal to the site or something. Let me check with Senor IT and see what we can figure out!

I just wanted to let you know that I am only getting e-mails in a spotty fashion.  I have made sure that the Enable option is selected each time but I only receive e-mails sometimes, so I don't know if I am doing something wrong.  Is anyone else having any problems?

i've started to get mine in a spotty fashion as well -- i think things are being blocked or redirected into my spam because of the frequency with which i receive them. that would be my best guess for everyone else as well.

my IT guy got married this weekend (Party!!!) so he's not here right now -- but i'll get this on the list to check into, and i'll see what i can do on my end without breaking the site. Devil

Where exactly can I opt out of all these emails?

Everytime i post I get all the emails from that thread unless I go in an unclickk disable.
