I was a member here before (JessicaB) I have two little girls Natalies 2 Jazmyn's 1 now. DH is all for having another, but i keep talking my self in and out of having another child. I really like the fact that when we get out of the Navy they will all be old enough to where i'll feel comfy putting them in prek and head start... well natalie will in in Kindergarten by then. If we have another girl i'll have everything but diapers and i'm thinking about cloth this time. I guess i'm just concerned we'll go broke. Is it more expensive to add another baby considering i might only have to buy diapers. If the baby turns out to be a boy i can always go the consignment shop route with the girls stuff to get boy thigns. Another question is how long does it take AF to come back after having a merina(SP?) IUD removed? I've had it since Dec 15th and my last AF was July 7th. TIA

Only you can make the decision that is right for your family.  We are done at 2.  We decided long ago that if we went for the third, we would adopt.  I know that the only reason I'd try for #3 would be to get a girl.  And I am sure that if I get pregnant, it will be a boy again!  :)

I had a 7 yr old son when I married my husband, within 2months of getting married we got preg ( another boy ), now 5 years after that we are expecting another in 6 weeks... A GIRL !!!!!  My husband and I had decided after #2 that we were done, but we both really wanted a girl. So we went for 1 more, not a day goes by that I am not thrilled about another baby. For me though it didn't take alot of conviencing to have another baby. But i am done after 3 ! Good Luck!

 

I guess one of the main reasons i go back and forth is b/c we live in Hawaii, and both girls are at an age where we can go out and do things. When we add another baby we won't be able to go to the beach all the time or zoo when ever, and i'm not sure if its a real big impact to add another baby money wise.

If you think about it, no one is every 100% ready for another baby. The fact that you're even struggling and debating over this makes me think deep down inside you really want to have another. Personally, I'd rather have all my kids close together, get the baby years over and just enjoy raising them and watching them grow... Good luck on whatever decision you end up making!!!

I have heard it said that no one regrets the babies they did have, only the ones they didn't. So a couple of years from now you might regret not having another one.

We've decided to try but not get all crazy yet.

 This is so funny to me, because me and my husband had been talking about having a third baby, and really couldn't decide. I've always wanted a big family, and for my kids to have lots of siblings. My husband on the other hand was not too sure about a 3rd. It took some convincing, and when he said yes I started getting nervous about it. LOL! But I decided to stop over thinking it and just go with the flow. So we will see, good luck and maybe we'll be due around the same time!

 Well, look at me! I have 2 girls and pregnant again.  Although kinda scary I'm so happy, and I know I will be definitely done with this one!  It is such a relief that I'm getting it over with instead of having that in the back of my head!  It is definitely a personal decision though, so you and your husband should think about it very well.   I will probably go broke with this one, but it will be worth it! Ive been debating the same thing. I have two girls and always wanted to have three kids but dh isnt so sure about it. I am 36 now and know I can not wait too long but I dont know what to do because of how I see the economy these days.
