This will sound dumb, but what is a DH?  I need to learn all of these new acronyms like EDD and LMP!  Lol. :)

    Re: Happymom

I'm another future May mom.  My name is Krissy and Baby #2 is due May 27th.  Hopefully, this pregnancy will run smoothly.  I was feeling fine up until Friday when I started spotting and cramping.   It was more of a sharp pain on my lower left side and the spotting only happened once.  But my doctor wanted to see me anyways.  I went in and we saw the baby's HB and the Dr. just suggested I lay low for a couple days.  Kinda a hard with a 2 yr. old running around wanting all of your attention :)!!  But I did and the cramping went away within hours.  I guess it's a clue that you might be doing too much.  So I'm going take the dr's advice and will try not to run myself down too much.  Nothing is more important to take care of then caring for this little person inside of me.  I'm looking forward to chatting with all of you in the coming months.  Good luck to everyone!!

Not only I am a moron to acronyms, but I have no idea how to put my picture on this thing and I have no clue as to why there are two little cartoon people next to my name, lol.

    DH- dear husband

    DD- dear daughter

    DS- dear son

    HPT- home pregnancy test

EDD- expected or estimated (can't remember which one) due date

    LMP- last menstral period

I hope some of those helped.Smile

For a pic, you can go to tinypic.com or photobucket.com and download your pic to there. You will get a code and you copy that code into your signature. Kinda like you do tickers. Hope that helped.

Thank you!  That helps a ton!  Big Smile

Perhaps if a day comes this weekend where I am not completely exhausted / nauseous I will actually attempt to get a pic up.  :)

I cannot BELIEVE how tired I am.  I don't know how you moms with other children are doing it.  I actually think my nausea is more from allergies and from a sore throat / cold-like thing that I've managed to catch.  I'll be glad to make it through the work week.

    Hi Heidilynn918!

I read your posting and could totally related to you.  I am so so so tired this time around.  I don't remember being this exhausted with my first. I never rested when my daughter took a nap. I always thought of it as my time to catch up on my own stuff.  But I have finally succumbed to relaxing and trying to rest at least for a part of her nap.  I do feel much better when I do and can then get on with the rest of the day and night.  So rest whenever you can and don't try to do too much!  Easier said than done but it really does help with your exhaustion.  Have a good rest of your week and hopefully you can relax this weekend.

Oh Krissy...my extreme tiredness is getting a little bit better, but nausea has stepped up to the plate, lol.  It is downright impossible for me to eat out anywhere because I don't know if I'll be able to eat my food until I smell it.  Last night, my mother in law took my husband and I out and I was able to eat my soup, but the second I smelled my dinner, I thought I was going to be sick.  I took maybe 2 bites.  This sucks!  I usually love food and now I don't even like talking about it!
