    Toddlerisms

So what does your toddler say that makes you giggle?

Today, Alex said to me, "My ears sparkle when I am in Daddy's car."  I have NO CLUE what that means!

    Only Daddy's car!

The only thing I can figure is that Drew likes to drive with the windows down and that's the only way he could describe the wind?  No clue.

Come on... who else has gems?

Well, Randy doesnt talk much, but he has learned to walk in circles and make himself dizzy and fall down.  It always makes me laugh.

When Anthony says "Hi" it comes out "Die" I don't know why he says it that way, but it's hilarious.

He also says "D!ck Tuck" which sounds really aweful, but he is really trying to say "Big Truck" (You know, Semi's) I should've called them Semi's instead of Big Trucks. Confused

    (Why is D I C K censored?)

Okay here is a toddlerism.. Right before Aidan tured 2 is when he decided to start to potty train.. well he would be naked of course because its just easier that way at first.. WELL.. Allison made him mad one day.. he aimed.. and pee'd on her Confused he did this twice actually.. once he pee'd on a toy she tried to take from him.. she didn't want it after he pee'd on it of course.. other than that.. he talks pretty normal. Knows many many many many many many more words than the girls ever did at 2..

Tyler loves his baths.  He'll stay in over an hour and play if you let him.

So yesterday, I give a heads up that bathtime is over in 10minutes and he needs to get dressed.  His reply is "No. This is my story and I don't want bathtime to be over, I want to stay in".

His story????  And he's writing his own endings????

We're always telling Justice to sit down. So now he says sit except it sounds like he's saying s*it if you know what I mean. Smile

    Very cute, Brenna! :)

Raegan is 21 months and right now she is obsessed with me singing the ABCs over and over.  She just stares at my lips when I say all the letters, but her favorite part is the "now I know my ABCs" and she sings it with me in perfect tune, then when its over she sounds like a Teletubby "again, again, mommy". :)

Emily's newest phrase is "where is it"?  except it doesn't quite come out right.  makes me laugh everytime.  I ask her.."where's your blankie" and she says "where is it" with her arms up.  Too funny :)

    Re: Toddlerisms

Tonight I am helpind ds blow his nose.....he's had a little cold so there's some good stuff in there.....and when he's done he says "Why is all this stuff coming out of my head?"    That made me laugh out loud.

Also, if he is saying something & I'm not understanding, he won't just let it go.  He's very persistent until his comment is understood.  So sometimes he will repeat himself and talk very slowly and exaggerate his facial/mouth expressions.......it's a little weird for a two year old to talk to me like I have a hearing or comprehension problem!
