Should I be worried?  I'm 5 weeks pregnant, and I have felt cramps off and on for the last couple days, not too bad, but enough to notice.  Today I noticed the pain is mostly from my incision from my last c-section.  Anyone else have any incision pain in the beginning?  Is it just stretching?  I'm not bleeding, so that is a relief, sort of.

i haven't heard any tales of incision pain, but cramping can be a part of early pregnancy -- it's usually caused by your little embryo nestling into it's home for the next nine months.

however, i would say, even though you've already had a child and have the experience of a prior pregnancy, it never ever hurts to put in a call to your doctor or her nurse -- if for no other reason than the peace of mind.

I had lots of cramping in the first few weeks, but not around my incision. I agree with Megan. If it keeps up you may wanna call your dr and tell them what is going on. KUP!

I had a weird feeling around my incision...not really pain but like a discomfort.  And every other day i feel a little cramping..but no bleeding..and i remember these kind of cramps with my son.  If you are worried I would agree with the other ladies to call your doc.
