When pg with ds, I was planning for a medicated birth....it turned out to be a scheduled csection less than 24hrs prior though.  If I get pg again, I will discuss a medicated VBAC vs another csection with the doctor.

I personally would not be interested in trying to do a natural birth.

I had my 5 children unmedicated as it was a high priority to me.

I used the Bradley Method with my first two pregnancies and had wonderful unmedicated births. With the twins I applied the teachings of active and ecstatic birthing that Ina May Gaskin teaches. With my last I used the same along with some Hypnobabies scripting.

For me, the only priority was that they came OUT.

I had both of my babies natural.  I don't really know why but it was important to me.  I know some people think I'm crazy but I think it was kind of a strength thing mixed in with challenge.  I wanted to see if I could really do it.  I still may be crazy, but I'm proud of myself for being able to do it.

Epidural please:) I had a wonderful labor and delivery...except for the pains from my contractions from time to time. The day I went into labor the best thing I saw (other then my son, of course) was the anesthesiologist walking into my room to give me drugs!!! After that is was smooth sailing. I honestly couldn't imagine giving birth without it, so all you mother's out there that have done it naturally, I take my hat off to you, but I will never be jumping on that bandwagon if i don't have to, I prefer no pain;)
