    A cause of infertility?

    http://www.notmilk.com/infertility.html

Do you believe that horomones present in meat and dairy are a cause of our health concerns such as infertility?  Do you believe it causes girls to develop at a much earlier age (9 years old, etc.)?

     Or,

Do you believe that there is no evidence of health problems as a result of hormonal injection into dairy and meat?

I think it's a bit over the top to blame milk.   We want something to blame when there is something wrong - human nature.

I do believe that the hormones passed on to our kids via milk and meats have a lot to with children growing larger and developing earlier -- even in my lifetime (which has been pretty short, by relative standards) the huge change I've seen in development coincides a little too neatly with how many more additives are being pushed into our food chain....I don't think all of that can be explained by evolution alone... Of course, that's all purely anecdotal, and I've no official research to back it up!

I bet if the milk farmers sponsored  a study that the results would be that milk increased fertility. I am skeptical of studies because usuallly you can twist information to make it say what you want it to say, depending who is paying for the study!

I agree with psmileyf.  There's a study to support everything.  Even contradictory findings.

I believe there may be a link between growth and hormones, but fertility?  I'm not buying that.

Well considering here in Canada hormones and antibiotics in milk are illegal and not used in our milk Im not sure if I really believe it because theres a lot of people here with fertility problems too.

i've decided to only buy organic milk for my daughter for this reason. i'm not obsessive about it, if we're out and about i'll give her milk from a restaurant or friends house but i've read some about this topic and think....if you can avoid it, why not be safe?
