Hello. 

My Name is Christine and I'm new to this forum.  I’m 36 y/o and pregnant with my second child.  I joined and enjoyed this forum very much when I was pregnant with my Daughter in 2002-2003 and am looking forward to getting to know all of you who are also due in July 2008.This PG has been so different from my first one… with my daughter we just started trying & I knew when I was PG, when I was due, every day was mapped on a special calendar & I knew everything & nothing all at the same time!This one….. well I was sick with Bronchitis, etc etc from October through December.  Little did I know ½ of my symptoms were pregnancy!!!  To our surprise we found out we were PG on Dec 11^th.On Dec 13^th, I rushed to the ER since I was having a lot of VG bleeding…. After blood tests, a pelvic, catheterization & Ultrasound confirmed everything was fine, we also found out how far along we were…… 9 WEEKS!  To our surprise…. (We were going to start “trying” in Jan when I was feeling better)…..So we’re due July 12^th….. & so far everything is going well… I’m almost to my 13^th week, and the baby has stayed put… so we’re finally passing the news along.The funny thing is, I grew out of my normal pants 3 days after finding out we were pregnant.  It all seemed like it was moving so fast…. But now I can’t wait for things to move even faster!

Welcome Christine! I'm glad to meet you! Congrats on your little one, and I look forward to getting to know you over the next few months. I'm Kelly, 30 y/o and 13 weeks pg w/ my first. DH and I tried for over 2 years ot conceive and finally found out about our little one on October 30. We're due on July 9th, and can't wait until it's here.

Hi Christine and congrats!!  It can sometimes be a little surprise.  My name is Susan and I am 30 years old expecting my 4/maybe 5 due July 31.  I just squeaked into the July due date.  Just like you I had no idea I was pregnant.  I had an IUD and was dealing with a severe kidney infection.  In fact my doctor was sceptical I could even get pregnant again.  But surprise, what I thought was the flu and a reaction to my meds was actually a pregnancy. I am now 10 weeks along, so I guess the big guy had other plans for us. 

 How has the pregnancy been going for you?  Any morning sickness?  And I look forward to getting to know all of you over the next several months.  Hopefully faster than longer, ha ha

I'm Lupe and I'm 40 y/o...I have a 4 y/o boy and now I'm having my second baby due in July 31!...just like you I got a PRE-XMAS gift and found out that I was prgnt!...I too got sick thinking I had a cold and it was making me dizzy and tired all the time, and suddenly food was grossing me out!...so, I was 4 days late with my period,did the test and....SURPRISE!!...I thougt we were done having children but like you said I guess The Big Guy had different plans for us!...I'm on my 11 wk and I'm so sick all the time with morning sickness that I keep losing weight!....I can't wait to be done with the first semester and be able to eat normal again!

Thank you for all the welcome emails.  I had horrible morning, afternoon and night sickness with this baby!  I have a 5 year old daughter and this is my second pregnancy.  With Lauren I only had very mild nausia & heartburn... which turned into horrible heartburn inthe 2nd & 3rd trimesters.<p>

With this little one I actually tossed my cookies most of the first trimester... thinking it was the flu etc the first few weeks.... we found out later than we expected.... and now it's just mild nausia & heartburn... thankfully!<p>

Have you all been pretty sick or pretty easy this time?  Have your pregnancies been totally different or much the same?  Alot is different this time around.  With my first I couldn't eat meat until the 18th week this time I love steak, pork, chicken... and absolutely LOVE spicy, garlicy & BBQ foods... which I'm usually a spice-wimp...... so it's been interesting....<p>

Are you planning on finding out the sex of the baby?  I can't wait.  We found out with Lauren and so we have tons of girl things (which I have boxed in totes by size etc) and so I'm super excited to find out.... mostly because everyone says I'm having a boy by looking at me.... so if that's the case, I've got to hit the stores & stock up..... <p>

Are you hoping for a boy or girl this time around?

Hi all July mommas!! Im Indigo, and me and baby Lustre are due july 8th too!! we call the baby "baby lustre" after his dads nickname, it kinda stuck:) Its our first too, and it seems like time is just flying by sooo fast doesnt it, its almost April!! Hope you all are having nice and healthy pregnancies out there, lets all have a blessed summer;) mommylustre~
