hi how are you doing ? i am also pregnant ..................... but im already in my third trimester ........ i am having a little girl ................. congrats on your pregnancy and i hope you get your wish and have a girl ..... so since your on your second baby i was wondering if you could help me out ........... is it more painful to have an epidural or a natural birth ??????
i really want a natural birth but i dont want a painful birth because i dont think i can handle the pain i dont know i probably could ................ so anyways nice to meet you and i hope you type back bye ...........
I'm good thanks, wow you're almost ready for you little girl to be here! That's GREAT! When is your due date?
Well I wanted to have a natural birth as well with my first. But after 14 hours of induced labor (he was a week late) I only dialated 2 cms (went in at 4 cms) so they had to give me a c-section, so I had to have the epidural. It ended up the best choice because the umbilical cord was wrapped around his neck twice and across his face, so he couldn't move down into the birth canal. But he was perfectly healthy with no complications. So of course I wouldn't change a thing.
Doing it again, I hope I'm able to have a vbac, but not sure my OB will do it, if I can, I'll opt for natural again. the contractions are bad but they were bareable for me. (but I'm told I have a high tolerance for pain) I had some side effects from the epidural 3 days after I came home and that pain was worse then anything I EVER experienced.
I'm sorry I don't mean to scare you. I think you need to do what is best for you. You know your body the best and know how much pain you can tolerate. I suggest maybe start with the idea of going natural but be open for all options if needed. Nothing is wrong with having an epidural and many woman have one and don't have any side effects.
Let me know how it all goes!!!
