    BABY NURSES?

My name is Erica and I am having my first baby in May....IT'S A BOY!!!  For a baby gift, my aunt is blessing me with a Baby Nurse for two weeks.  Does anyone know how I can begin my search in finding the best nurse to help me and my family adjust to the first few weeks together?

What is it exactly you are looking for?  I know there is a company called Comfort Keepers.  They'll come in and do your laundry, clean, make meals, etc.   Is that what you had in mind or are you looking more for a nanny?

    Re: BABY NURSES?

Well I am really looking for a licensed nurse to come and stay in my home for 2 weeks.  I want her to help to care for the baby while I am recovering.  I would need someone to assist with feedings, diaper changes, and basically all the care the baby would need should I be unable to do so or if I am sleeping.  It would be a great help if they can assist my husband and I with basic household duties as well.  Does this better explain what I am looking for...do you think there is anyone out there who can help?

     Thanks!!!

Does your baby have any special needs?  I guess I am a little lost why you would need that.

No, my baby is due in May and as far as the Dr. can see he is healthy as can be.  I need a baby nurse to help me and my husband with all the previous things mentioned.  I know I will be recovering physically and emotionally from just the birth alone.  I want to make sure we catch up on our sleep and have someone their to teach and advise us should we have any questions.  It is really just a help to us in the adjustment.
