Hi Michelle D. I'm Beth and I'm 23. I'm pregnant with my third child. I got pregnant with my first when I was sixteen so I know what your going through. I know it can be scary because of all of the unknowns but once you hold that little one in your arms you will know that it is all worth it. If you ever need anyone to talk to I'm here. Well I hope to get to know you a little better over the next couple of months. I'm due in September I'm guessing we are due about the same time.

well it was quite a shock for my family to hear i was getting married (after 4 months of dating) when i was 19. Just after I turned 20 about 2 months later I was pregnant! My dad didnt really want me to get married but at the prospect of having a grandchild... he was THRILLED. i was sooooo nervous to tell him tho, and when i did, it was fabulous! now that 7 months after i gave birth to my first, i am 21 and 6 weeks along with my second, he is still COMPLETELY stoked and hoping for a granddaughter this time around (my first was a boy :) I know you are scared, but they are going to be happy... even if they are shocked at first :) good luck

Hi Michelle, my name is Melissa. I'm 20, married to a Marine, and pregnant with my 2nd baby. I had my son at the age of 13 and finished school. I was completely terrified because I didn't know what to expect. I understand how you feel about being scared. Being scared is completely normal for first time parents. You could actually take a parenting class offered by most hospitals. I wish you the best of luck and CONGRATS most of all!!!

Well My parents didn't take it very well but not for the usual reasons. My parents didn't want to have to support me and a new baby but when I talked about possibly giving her away for adoption my mom said if I did that she would want her. I guess it was just hard for them to get over the news. Well I married my hubby when I was six months pregnant and he is my hero. I think you might want to wait till you get to your second trimester just to make sure everything is going good then give them the ultrasound pic thats how we told his mom. Hope all the best for you and congrats!

First congrats.  I am 28 and pregnant with my first...my husband and I are totally excited.  It is okay to be terrified.  I think that joining a support is going to help.  There are a lot of amazing women here going through the same thing as you.  I am now 12 weeks and am finally feeling better...minus the constant exhaustion.

Wish you the best of luck and a healthy pregnancy!

thank you to everyone for your support and kindness. each day gets a little easier. :] i feel like i am already beginning to show? maybe its psychological? haha is it possible to be showing this early? and to the woman who had her first at 13, that is insane, you were still just a child yourself. but you did it and thats what matters! i feel so tired and sick all the time. is this normal?

Everyone shows at a different time.  I hear it is easier to show if you have had a baby before or if you are regular sized (opposed to someone who maybe works out and has rock hard abs).  I am 12 weeks and I am now starting to show.  I swear, last week I was telling everyone how excited I was that I wasn't showing and this week I have a baby bump.  Everyone is different.

You should start feeling better towards your second trimester.  Like me, you are almost there.  Some say it starts at 13 weeks, others at 14 so hang in there.  The sickness should go away; however, I have read here that many women feel sick their entire pregnancy.  I'm starting to feel better, though so there is certainly hope for you.

Hello, My name is Michelle also! I'm 18 years old and happily married! As far as we know I am approximently 6 weeks. So we are pretty much on the same page! I'm scared to death as is my husband! We have told our family and they are all super excited for us and can't wait for our new bundle of joy to arrive! Why have you yet to tell you family? are you nervous about what they will say? If so I was too and it turned out to be great responses and now we have our whole family experiancing the joy with us... and the scary thought that we are goin' to be parents! lol... FUN*

I hope to hear from you! I just joined the site so i'm not familer with everything just yet....

Hi Michelle - I'm Jessica. I'm 23 and 9 weeks pregnant with my second. I got pregnant with my first when I was 19 too. It was a very scary time for me - I just didn't feel ready for kids, but life happens - literally! Things were really tough the first couple of years - I still attended college full time and worked two jobs to support myself and family, and didn't really have any close relatives there to help. Looking back though, I wouldn't want it any other way. Having a child earlier than I planned made life so much more challenging, but so much more rewarding in the end. You'd be surprised how many unexpected people are there to help too! Congratulations and good luck!

    Hi Michelle!

I know what you're going through! I was 18 when we got pregnant and I took a test and was NOT going to tell my mom...I thought for sure she'd hate me! But my cousin told her and she dealt with it fine! Our daughter is now almost 16 months old and we're pregnant with #2!!!! so excited btw! anyways..i know it's been a while since you posted this but some more support never hurt! I'm only 20 now and couldn't be happier...I was pretty wild until i got pregnant with the last one so you can imagine how my parents already didn't trust me. I was horrified they would all hate me! anyways...Good Luck!!! Hope your pregnancy is going great! What is it? b/g? any names picked out? How come you got married so young? sorry im not tryin to be nosy!! lol!   have a good day!!

    xoxo JoDe

Hey Michelle, I am Brooke I understand i am 14 weeks preg. with my second and I am 20.  My Son is 5 turning 6 in Dec. I was 14 when I got preg. with my son talk about being scared but, I think that comes with every pregnancy.  But don't worry to much we are made to be mothers it will come naturally.  Pregnancy is scary but exciting in the same once you start seeing the ultrasound and hearing the heart beat your heart will melt and you will fell better.  Congrats!
