    Sleeping positions

    Hi there,

I am due end of April and as each day progresses it gets more and more unfortable to sleep.  My body feels like I have been beat up every morning, but my main concern is am I hurting the baby in any way by the positions I choose.  I sleep on my side, but it seems when I switch sides, the baby starts really kicking like he is being squashed.  Sometimes he does it no matter which side I choose and I woory that I am hurting him.  This is my second child and I didn't have this with my first, but this one is a bigger baby, 6lbs already and I am not due until last week in April.  My doctor says just move from side to side until we are both comforatable, but sometimes he doesn't seem comforatble any way.

    I appreciate any feedback, thanks!

    Re: Sleeping positions

Hi, my idea for you is pillows, pillows, pillows. My husband use to be a CNA, when I was pg for my now 3 1/2 year old, he would put a pillow under my belly, behind my back, and between my legs the long way. It sure felt good. It was like everything was all propped up. Give this a try, and let me know if it helped you. Good luck.

it's ok to sleep on your back, as long as you are comfortable and not having any funny feelings.  if you're not comfortable on your back just keep propping pillows around yourself. good luck...not too much longer!

I went and got a body pillow and now that is my bestfriend. Put it inbetween your legs when you are sleeping, you can also but the belly on it and you feel all nice and snug. When your sittting in bed fold in half and you have a nice back support. It a wonderful pillow.
