Hi Christina,
Congrats on your new addition. What is spina bifida exactly?
Sounds like you have your hands full, I was 27 when I left nursing, I'm 37 now, I also worked for a Oncology Dr. as his nurse, for 3 yrs. private practice, I learned alot, they have come along way since then...If I was ever to go back thats what I would be doing, I felt that I could give the most help to the people who needed it most...I miss it.. I hope you enjoy your baby and your career, We have 5 kids, planning on 6 or 7 tops, hubby wants twins... so going back is not in the future for me. We are self-employed, I help run our central heat and air business. so we are always busy, and then kids, 4 boys and 1 girl, between skateboarding and scooters, and now baby dolls life is exciting for us..
Keep us posted
I tryed to work with peds, for a short while, I had a hard time, not waiting to take all the kids home with me, so I didn't stay there, I was a nurse for 10yrs. I did my internship with ob/gyn, then later went to oncology.
Well take care
