Well, it leads to lung issues when they are older and low birth weight. When someone smokes they are depriving their baby of oxygen everytime they take a drag of that cigarette. The best way to give your baby a great start at life is to not smoke for those nine months, it is very important to their little lives.

You baby get addicted to nicotine the same way you do! Guess how happy that baby is going to be to have to go cold turkey.He/She will have to go thru withdrawl wouldn't you want to go thru that instead of your baby??  Please stop smoking while your pregnant. Why not give your baby the healthiest start you can?? Talk to your dr about stopping.
