Has anyone had their baby? Where did everyone go?

 

Me, I'm ready for this baby to come. I'm not sleeping at night and my mind is racing with excitement to find out if I have a little boy or girl brewing in there.  

 

What's going on ladies...any updates?

 

 

I was wondering the same thing!!  I guess were all just waiting around.  I'm so glad to be starting my maternity leave.  My doc says its too dangerous for me to drive such a long distance every day because i'm not supposed to labor.  Scheduled for c-section on Apr 16th!!

Can't wait!  I'm not getting any sleep either..my hips hurt and i rotate all nite!!  There was so much I said I was gonna do when I started my leave, but so far this week i havent done anything but rest all day!!

I check the site everyday, but don't have a lot to update. All is still well here. Baby is so active, but I am ready for her to come, too. I am still sleeping okay, but I get up every two hours to pee.
I still have no idea how things will work out for me. I just got a promotion that will take me to another location, about an hour away. My training ends just before my due date, so I am hoping I can stay home after that until she comes. But, I have no idea when she will come and I can't afford too much time off without pay. I am afraid I will have to start work at the new location before she comes, and then have to find a way to get to my hospital when I go into labor.
I hope my doctor can give me regular updates on my progress, so that I can ultimately take off of work only a day or two before she comes and not have to worry about all that other stuff. My mom is going to stay with me when I do stop working, she is going to the hospital with me. It would be totally different if the father and I were together, but we are not, so I am on my own financially and emotionally.
I hope everyone else is still doing great. Hope all are healthy and happy.

I'm still here too, just waiting I guess. The last month seems like the longest of the nine. It's great to start going weekly to see the doctor at least you know the end has to be near. I can't wait to get him out, can't sleep at night or at least not for long just because I can't get comfortable but at least I haven't had any heartburn problems since I started on nexium two months ago. I've never had so many complaints lol. As for work, I finally am training the girl that will take over for me while I'm gone, talk about cutting it close. Hopefully I will only have to pull one more weekend of graveyards then I will be on fulltime afternoons until after he comes. The great thing is my general manager offered to let me bring the baby with me to work when I come back on the nights I have to work midnight to 8am. I will be working though til I'm in labor so far everything is good so I can't really afford to take the time off. I'm financially on my own too. Well I blabbed more than I thought I would, sorry. Hope everyone is doing well.

I am still waiting as well. I start my leave on the 11th so I have two more weeks of work, then I'm off for 6 weeks. I feel good though, some pelvic pain but thats about it. I only wake up once a night to go bathroom, but I toss and turn a lot cause I start to hurt after being in one position for so long. I am very impatient to find out what I'm having, but excited that soon I will know.

I am still here too! Been having a few pains here and there. Lots of pressure still. Don't sleep really good anymore. Hips and legs and back hurt all of the time!!! I have almost everything ready for when he gets here. I have a C-Section scheduled for the 17th.

I had my little boy one month exactly early... Original due date was the 22nd of April, he came the 22nd of March. Labour and delivery were smooth and calm and relaxed... very special experience for the first. I would do it again in a heartbeat because of how things went. Our nurses were great, the doctor on call was great (my OB was in Australia, and I thought it was good he went so early cause then nothing would hinder him being there to deliver my  baby), Mark was great. He was pretty big for being 4 weeks premature... he was 6-13 lbs, 19 3/4 inches long. I love him so much already... hope everyone else is doing good. My only complaint, I didn't get my week of sleep like I planned (I filed my Mat leave for 2 weeks early, not much good that did us) :)...

Congratulations Crystal!!! I hope everyone came out of it healthy! You need to update your ticker now! What did you end up naming your little guy?

I can't wait until I can report back on my baby's birth, too!

Congrats on your baby boy!! He really was good sized for being early! I am glad things are going well for you!!

Congrats Crystal!! How awesone, he is a pretty nice size for being a month early.  What sent you to the hospital? Was it contractions or did your water break?  I'm so exicted for you!!

Thanks everyone. Everything was great, and of course to me he's perfect. He came exactly when he was meant to. My water broke at home, I had braxton hicks all week and woke up feeling like crap. That night after my water broke, contractions didn't start until we got to the hospital and he was born the next afternoon. He would have been HUGE if he went to term. Thanks for the well wishes
