I have been having these contant contractions all day for the last 3 days. I went into Labor and Delivery last night and they keept me on the monitor for a couple hours and the contraction were one after another and painful but they said it was irritaion in the uterus. Has anyone had this problem before and what did you do to relieve the pain? Please help

 are you staying very well hydrated? sometimes if your body is dehydrated the uterus will be really irritable and have a bunch of cramps, not really contractions because they don't change the cervix.  did they check you for a UTI?

I drink so much water I'm drowning They did check me but it was negative. I went and saw my Dr. and she put me on bed rest till my schedualed c-section wich is this Friday the 11th. She also gave me something to help me sleep through the night. So I'm just dealining with it.
