I went to my 38 week appt yesterday and my midwife told me I am 5cm!!! And just about 100% effaced! She even felt his head too. She thinks he is already 8 1/2 pounds!! Crazy!! I had contractions all day yesterday every ten min. then they stopped around 1am. I had mucousy bloody discharge yesterday and today.  Thinking it's more of my plug (way more than normal) and now I am just waiting for these contractions get worse and closer together. I am not in too much pain. Just feel a lot of pressure and ready to give birth! I hope it happens VERY soon here. I am going to walk and clean the house today and maybe things will just move along. I'll keep you all posted! How are you other april mommies doing???

Last week I was at 1 cm but I am having a C-Section next week so it really doesn't matter for me!! He just told me that since I was starting to dilate that I may go sooner than the 17th! I go back to the dr tomorrow and I feel like he will probably re check just to make sure.

I am 38.5 weeks and my dr. said I have only thinned out a little. He can still feel my cervix. She is currently at -2. I just know that I am going to be late. My mom was late and my sister was late, too. I am almost sure I will have to be induced sometime within 7 days after my due date. I really am starting to get anxious. I want to meet her, NOW!

I am so excited for all you ladies that have finally got to meet your babes! It is great to hear that so far everyone is healthy! I know someday soon I will join you.

It's all so close now! I haven't even been checked to see if I was dilating but I do have an appointment tomorrow so maybe then. I just know I have the part of me that wants it over and then the part of me that is sooo scared that I'm doing it again. Anyways, congrats to everyone that is already there and good luck to those of us just gearing up.
