My son has very dry skin/eczema on his hands and shins and ankles.  What is making it even worse now is that he is scratching like crazy and he is making it even worse.  We use Aquafor right out of the tub to seal the moisture in and at night we gob it on his hands and put socks on his hands to soften them, but this morning as soon we took the socks off he started scratching like crazy......I feel so bad.

The doctor had given us a steriod cream over a year ago, but I don't really like to use it.

As anyone found any products....either store bought or home remedies to relieve the itching and dry skin?  I don't know what else to do right now.
