    Not sure!!

Hello everyone I am new at this so forgive the abbreviations. My and my husband have been married 3 years and have decided to start trying for a baby. I went of BC 3 month ago to give my body a break. I forgot how bad PMS could be. My LMP was 4/5. I should have ovulated on the 19th, however, took a ovulation predictor test on the 14th and it was positive. We did the deed 3 days in a row and then every other day. For the past week I have been very tiered, nauseous on and off, cramping on and off and my boobs don’t hurt, but my husband keeps commenting on the size. I now it’s very early, but something is different with my body. I should get my period on 5/3. My question is since I ovulated 5 days early does that push my period date up 5 days? From what I read your period should come 14-16 days after you ovulate. Thank you…just trying to figure out when to test.

I would test when you would normally start. For the most part it's sometimes best to wait an extra week to give your body a chance to fully get the right readings. If you test on the day you were supposed to start you might get a negative instead of a positive when a week later your numbers would have doubled making it easier of you are indeed pregnant. Lots of luck!!!

I don't think an early O means an early period. You can O at any time during your cycle really. As far as taking a test I'm not much help, I was queen of taking tests too early. I figured I knew it  was early but if by some miracle I got a positive great! If not I would wait a couple of days and test again. Good luck!
