    baby moving

I am sixteen weeks pregnant and haven't felt the baby move yet.  I am so nervous that I have made myself sick. I heard

the heartbeat at my last appointment, but I am still worried. Anyone our there not feeling the baby yet.

It's normal not to feel the baby for a while with your first, I'm assuming this is your first, or just not realize that you felt it. Don't worry, calm yourself down, it's better for the baby. Hang in there, it will happen.

TayTay is right, don't get yourself all worked up, it's not good for you or baby. If you were 24 weeks and have't felt the baby, then worry, 16 weeks is still early to feel your little one, especially in a first pregnancy. The norm isn't til around 20 weeks or so, so don't stress. There are lots of different factors also in determining how early you can feel baby move, your size, baby's size, how you're carrying, etc. Plus the first times your baby moves are so faint and light unless you are specifically focusing on trying to feel movement, it'll pass and you won't realize it. You will feel your baby, as long as your appointments are going good and you are hearing a heartbeat, don't worry! Give it a little time, you should feel your little one within the next few weeks! Congratulations on your new baby!

The others are absolutely right. Soon enough you feel the flutters or bubbles, however you want to describe it. Eventually you'll feel little feet in your ribs and elbows poking out :)  With my second at 16 weeks I was flat on my back and suddenly saw my belly raise up and down. It was the first movement I'd felt/seen and was completely out of the blue.
