Funny.  I got an email from someone named Helene up your way who was looking for a dog. 

good lord lady I'm not that crazy... 3 kids, a newbie, 2 kittens, a dog, and another dog.... Uuuuuuhhh nope.. I was actually going to adopt 3 begals before I found out about newbie but that thought went POOF quick when I knew there was another on the way... my kids are begging for another dog because fat lazy dog muffin does NOTHING but sleep all day she's not much of a dog.. she's old.. boring.. I like old and boring right now

I have three dogs here that are old and boring.  It is totally the way to go when you have little kids.  We'll get a younger dog when the yard is fenced in and the kids can have some responsibility for a dog.  Right now, I love my couch potatoes!
