    Not much longer!

Well ladies, we are getting so close! Only the summer months left between us and our little ones. I am ready to go register for shower gifts! How are you all doing on the nursery front? We are doing Pooh and the nursery is about half finished, I still need a crib matress and some touch up paint.

How is everyone feeling now? Things are good here, I am managing my diabetes via diet so far and the baby moves like crazy all the time. I am measuring big though and have to go for another u/s tomorrow. I told the Dr that this is not unusual for me, but she's young and in-experienced and won't just wait until my next appt. to see if there is change. I did lose 5 pounds though, so I am 2 pounds less than what I started the pregnancy off with. That's a good thing for me, it means the baby is growing and I'm losing, proof that I'm following my diebetic diet!

I hope things are going well for everyone else, let me know! Also, what are you all going to name your bundles of joy? Mine is Jackson Robert Fleming.

    Re: Not much longer!

I probably won't have a baby shower. I live 20 hours from my family. We are doing Winnie the Pooh too but since we are renting an apartment we can't paint or decorate like we would if we owned our own place. I have been feeling pretty good so far. My belly is measuring about 3 weeks ahead but doctor said could be cuz I was constipated or baby was all stretched out. Right now, I think we are naming our little one Austin Taylor. May change middle name but don't know for sure yet.

I'm really happy that I've reached my six month. Time has seemed to slow since the kids and I are out of school for the summer. I have been getting things together for the nursery. I'm thinking of doing a football theme. I'm going to make a Seattle sea hawks crib set. We are getting ready to move as soon as possible so I'm not setting anything up yet but it's here and waiting. My sister wants to throw me a shower so we will probably do that in about a month or so. We had decided on Alexander Kenneth Rudolph for a name but hubby decided he didn't like the Alexander to much so now we are back to the drawing board. Any ideas????????? Well it's good to hear everyone is doing good and I can't wait until we can swap birthing stories.

Woo hoo! I have 14w 2d left (well, until my due date!) I am having a girl (= We have it narrowed down to 7 names. My favorite is Alexandria and we'd call her Alex for short. But I dunno. We are doing her room in chocolate and pink. We are getting ready to move so I haven't started getting everything set up yet.

I have a question, she moves and kicks a lot, but almost all of the kicks I feel are low, really low, like barely above my pelvic bone. Is that normal? So I guess she stays feet down most of the time. Maybe once a week I feel a one or two kicks (or hits) up higher, closer to my belly button. I guess I just thought she would be turning around a lot. Where do you feel most of the kicks?

    Re: Not much longer!

When my baby is in the right position he kicks to the right, above my belly button. When he is breach he kicks my bladder. It is quite unpleasant. He switches back and forth ALOT! Several times a day. It is a little worrisome, I keep telling my hubby that my luck he'll settle in breach. This is my 3rd and I had great vag. births with the other 2 and it would be my luck that the last would be breach and I would need a C-sec. Hopefully not, but it really is my luck.

I can't believe that we are so close!!!

I have NOTHING done! I finally settled on a bedding set but it is on backorder (just my luck) and I won't be getting it until the end of the month. My DH and I can't agree on any names at all!! We don't even have any "maybe's" on the list because we found that we just have such opposite tastes this time around. Hopefully she won't be born nameless!! I got a little outta control in the weight department over the past few months. I have gained a total of 20lbs so far and most of that was within 4 weeks. I have taken back control of my eating habits and choices though so hopefully it will be much better from now on.
