where do you feel his/her kicks?

Woo hoo! I have 14w 2d left (well, until my due date!) I am having a girl (=

I have a question, she moves and kicks a lot, but almost all of the kicks I feel are low, really low, like barely above my pelvic bone. It feels like she kicks my bladder most of the time. Is that normal? So I guess she stays feet down most of the time. Maybe once a week I feel a one or two kicks (or hits) up higher, closer to my belly button. I guess I just thought she would be turning around a lot. I know they dont settle into the right position until about 36 weeks or something, I just don't know why she doesn't really turn around. Where are you suppose to feel most of the kicks at 26 weeks?

I feel the majority of kicks in the same place too. I asked my Dr about it at my last appointment and she said that the uterus is still a pretty thick muscle and some places might be thicker than others right now so that might be why I don't feel them in other places. I just recently (last week) started feeling them higher, like around my belly button, but not as often as I feel the lower kicks.

I feel the majority of the movement in my lower abdomen as well. I also thought I would be feeling them up high by now, but apparently not. I do feel a few here and there up by my belly button, but not many at all. I had to get a sonogram the other day on my gall bladder (I have gall stones, yuck!) and when the tech was finished with my gall bladder she wanted to find the baby's heart beat. So, she gets to the baby and we can see her little hands balled up like fists. When the sono tech put some pressure on my belly all of a sudden we saw her punch me really hard! It was adorable. But, the point of that story is that the sono tech said she is head down with her feet by my belly button which makes me wonder if what I'm feeling are actually punches and not kicks???

I know I wrote this in another post, but I can't find it. I have kicks high and low. My little one switches back and forth from breech to head down, so it depends on what position he has chosen for the moment. I hate it when he goes breech b/c the bladder kicks hurt pretty bad. He is also doing something new. I never felt this with my other 2 pregnancies and it is sooo weird. It feels like a hand is trying to escape. I feel it on the upper side of my pelvic bone in the groin area. It seriously feels like he is reaching through something and wriggling his fingers around. It is one of the strangest sensations I have ever felt. Clearly a typed description just doesn't do it justice!

I was just reading your post about the wierd sensation right near your pelvic bone and I was like OMG my little one is doing that too, I thought I might be the only one thinking he is trying to escape!! LOL, thats really funny, just thought i'd let you know that you are not alone!
