    Very new to pregnancy

Hi, I'm very new to pregnancy.  I took a home test about a week ago, and it said i was pregnant.  Of course, I was in shock, so i took another one that day, and two during the weekend, and all came out saying i was pregnant, this would be the first time.  I know I'm about five or six weeks along, but i don't know what to expect, so i don't know if what i'm feeling is linked to pregnancy or not.  I'm going to the ob/gyn once i'm about eight weeks, that's when they'll first see me.  In the meantime, what should i do?

Hi Kim I'm Beth. I hope you are excited about your new little one. For now the only thing you can do is relax and enjoy the ride so to speak. Not much will happen between now and then except you might feel tired a lot and you might have morning sickness. They want to wait till your eight weeks because the chance of miscarriage is considerably less at that point. At your first appointment be ready to fill out parent history papers and general health history. They just want to know if there is anything in your family or your baby's daddy's history that could affect the baby. Well I hope the next 35 weeks go smoothly for you and you keep in touch.

Congratulations! Just take it easy and enjoy it, especially if you're not having an morning sickness!

These are fun to read, too!

You should go ahead and start taking vitumins. There are plenty of good over the counter ones.
