Hi I am about 33 1/2 wks and have been having terrible stomache pain. I had really bad cramps for a couple days about a week ago. But now I have these pains and right around my belly button it feels bruised or something. Everytime I cough or anything it really hurts. I think the baby has dropped since I have also been having pains in my lower back and tailbone but have never felt anything like this before. I am just wondering if there is something wrong or if anyone else is having similar problems. I go to my doctor tomorrow but am sick of hurting.

 I never really had any pains that you are, but it could possibly be a pulled muscle or more stretching of your uterus.  I would just let the doctor know whats going on.  The cramps could have been caused by braxton hicks too..  I hope this was helpful to you, good luck at your doctor and let us know what they said.

From what I have read, it sounds like it could be the baby just pulling on the ambilical cord.  I get minor pains in that area, too, but yours sound worst.  I will be 33 weeks tomorrow and I am still carrying very high and I don't have severe back ache.  It almost sounds like your baby is starting to plan his/her escape.  Good luck with your Dr's appt tomorrow.  I am sure everything will turn out fine.

Well they think I have a UTI but that's not what it feels like. They gave me a prescription before the test results were even back. I had to cut back to working only three days a week. I am feeling a little better but if I do too much I am in a lot of pain. I can't wait for the next few weeks to go by. I know they will fly by. My kids have summer programs to go to and we have two birthdays to celebrate in the same week. I go back in again in a week and a half. Hopefully they decide when they will induce me soon. They think the baby is about 6 pounds now and I am only 34 wks.
