    September Babies

    Hello,

How is everyone doing?  Just wanting to check on everyone.  Also, has anyone seen any post from Lissa lately?  I know she was a high risk pregnancy and I don't think I have seen a post on here from her in a while.

Well, hope this finds everyone doing well.  I have been dealing with blood pressure issues, low iron and now diabetes.  The blood pressure isn't bad if I rest but when I get to cleaning things it goes up but doing okay, the low iron makes me want to sleep and I just saw a Endocrinologist today and get to *** my finger 4 times a day.  I think that will turn out just fine as well- as long as I stay away from sugar.

Well, send your updates!  Look forward to hearing how everyone is doing.

    Take Care,

    Christi

Sorry to hear you're having issues with your BP and iron and finding out about the diabetes on top of all that. When are you due? So far I'm doing well. The only issue I'm starting to have now is severe back pain. I think the baby has positioned herself on my sciatic nerve and I have an excruciating pain going from my lower back all the way down my left leg. I'm going to call my doctor today to see what, if anything, I can do about it. I'm due Sept 14 so I know the next 2 months are going to be pretty uncomfortable. I know that the final outcome is completely worth it though, so thats what I'm trying to focus on.

    Hope everyone is doing well!!!

I'm due September 10th.  Yeah- it has been a rough pregnancy for me but it will be worth it!  I had BP issues with the other two but not this soon in pregnancy and I have never had sugar issues so this is all new to me.  So are you having a girl? I am so sorry that your back is hurting like that- it must be horrible.  I hope that they can do something for you to make it feel better.  Let me know what they tell you about that.  This last two months will probably feel like the longest for you with the pain- I sure hope they can help you with that.  Take care!  keep me posted.

It surely will be worth it! I failed my 1 hour glucose test so I had to get the 3 hour test, but I passed that. I would have been okay with having it though, probably would have been healthier for the baby because of the diet they put you on. I am having a girl. A very fiesty one at that. Hahahaha! What are you having? I called my OB yesterday and she said she refers her patients to physical therapy... I'm not sure about that though. There has to be a way for me to learn the exercises without having to pay a fortune for it. The pain has actually eased up a bit today, so I'm going to see how it goes. My husband is out of the country on a missions trip with our church right now and I was sleeping on my moms couch the past few nights. I'm wondering if that had anything to do with the pain!?! We'll see tonight, I go back to my house. Funny thing is, her couch is more comfy then my bed. Go figure!

I posted something about couches on another  topic. It can definately help with better back support to sleep on the couch, maybe you can sleep on your's when you get home and it will help.

Hello ladies! Yes, I'm still here Christi. Thanks for wondering about me. I went back to my home state of Arkansas for 2 weeks and just got back this Sunday. I am doing rather well. On July 2nd I was told I didn't need to see a high risk doctor no longer due to no cervical change. I have made it to 33 weeks and still pregnant. The heat is about to get to me really bad but I try to stay inside but sometimes it is real hard to stay cooped up. But yup still here and still pregnant. LOL!

AWESOME!  Glad to hear that things are going good for you.  That's great that you do not have to see the high risk doctor. I am feeling you on the heat thing!  How was your trip back to Arkansas?  Is that where your Father lives?  Hope things are going good with him.

    Re: September Babies

The trip back to Arkansas was very tiring. I didn't fly there because my parents were already down here and didn't want to risk going into labor on a plane. I enjoyed my visit with my family since I won't see them for a while. Yes, my dad does live there and he's doing great. Him and my mom are both staying here in North Carolina with me to help me out when my husband deploys. And then they will help me go back to Arkansas until he gets back if everything goes as planned but you never really know.

I'm glad to hear that your Dad is doing well, and that is great that they will be able to stay and help you out.  When does your husband deploy?  Will you be going back to Arkansas after the baby?  Will the military move you there or do you have to move yourself?  Sorry that your husband is going to have to go over there.  I should get your email address from you so that after our babies come we can still keep in touch but I do not know how to do that without everyone else on here getting it.
