Hi ladies, I havent been on here for sometime .. nearly a yr now.. its coming up to the 1yr anniversary of my second m/c which happened Aug18th 07 ... i want to do something special in memory of my m/c and woundered if any1 did anything special or had any ideas .... .. might sound odd was thinking of letting off a ballon or somthing .. im not sure .. i didnt do anything really for my 1st m/c just remebered and still do ... but with this one i was alittle further along and saw the m/c in detail which wasnt very nice .. any ideas wud be very grateful.. tc diane M/C DEC 04 M/C AUG 07 LIAM-REECE 3.11.05

Miscarriages are terrible things.  I have had two as well.  One was nine years ago now and the other only 10 days ago.  What I did and still do for them is let balloons go. I love balloons and I feel that letting them go symbalizes my releasing them to heaven.  It may sound silly but it helps me and that's what counts.  I wish you all the best. 

I think the balloons sound like a really nice idea. But whatever you decide, I think the important thing is to allow yourself the minute/hour/day (or however long) to grieve. You don't have to "just get over it" and you have every right to honor your angel baby. Take care of yourself!

 

I too have had two miscarriages and I let a balloon go on the dates every year.  I got the idea because since my brother passed away at 22yrs old we release balloons every year on his birthday, the same amount of balloons for every year (23rd b-day ==23 balloons.)  I noticed your son was born on 3-11-05, my first son was born on 3-12-05.
