    some bad news

Finally just went to the ER to get some answers. they said my HCG level was at a normal 795 (which i think is to low) so they couldnt see anything just yet. but they did find a cyst on my ovary and a cyst like structure in my adnexial region... i think thats my tube. they told me to stay clam, not to worry and we'l see if the HCG levels double in 48 hrs. i shouldnt be so negative.... but if there is something in my tube then I have a feeling as to what it is and i think that the blood test will show that my levels have not doubled. Ive been so sad .... does anyone have any words of wisdome?

Just relax! They haven't told you it is bad yet, so until then all you can do is be calm.  When I was nine weeks pregnant my doctors found a cyst on my ovary too.  And it hurt really bad and the pregnancy hormones made it grow so big that it was endangering me and the baby. So at 20 weeks pregnant they went it and removed a cyst the size of a large grapefruit!  And both the baby and I came out of it just fine!  My boy is 3 now and I would never know it happened if I didn't have pictures.  I even forget sometimes that it happened.  Maybe it is just a cyst!   My only advise is stay calm.  And I know how hard that is because when I heard "its a danger to your baby" I was a wreak. But I think more often than not, they don't grow and they can probably take care of it after your pregnancy.  The real danger is when the cyst ruptures, not the cyst just being there.  My guess if it is just a cyst, your doctors will just want to watch it for a couple more weeks to see what happens.  As far as the pain, try not to over do it.  I did, and that makes it much worse.  Best of luck to you and if you need to talk, I am always here!

I appriciate the uplifting words. Im not so much worried about the cyst on my ovary. what scares me is the questionable cystic structure in my tube that they dont know what it is. that is what makes me feel like it can be a tubal preg. but i will try to keep my thoughts positive and hopes up :) if everything turns out to be okay with baby i dont want to cause a problem. lol

    Re: some bad news

So i just returned home from the hospital. I had my left tube removed due to ctpoic pregnancy. very sad week for us. i think that i'm all cried out and ready to heal. I believe this is the worst feeling any one could ever have, yet im hoping for the best. the DR told me that Im not going to be able to concieve and she would like to refer me to a specialist. She said that I would be a perfect candidate for IVF.... as my right tube is still there but no good. so like i said... its been a tough week. but nothing can take that feeling away from me, the feeling of so much joy when i first found out i was pregnant. good luck to all of you ladies, and i hope the very best for you and your little ones coming into the world!

You're absolutely right.  That does have to be one of the worst feelings in the world.  My heart goes out to you.  I understand being all cried out.  Unfortunately, there isn't anything anyone can say to make it all better, but, we will be here for you through the tough times and through the future.  It's good to know that there are still options out there for you.  The choice can still be yours.  Hugs from a distance.  Please rest and take some time for yourself.  I'll be praying for you.
