Does anyone give this to their child?

I am at wits end in a battle w/eczema & I do not like using the prescription steriods.  Flaxseed was recommended by a dermatologist who prefers holistic healing, but dh is hesitant.

I've never tried it, but it can't hurt anything. You might as well give it a try. Thankfully Justice's has started to clear up on it's own, I never used the creams either. You can also use caster oil directly on the skin. That helped with Justice's a little, didn't get rid of it, but helped lessen the severity. Good luck. 

Thank you for responding.  I will look into the castor oil, and vitamin E was recommended also.  I just really hope he grows out of it.  Now I'm worried because there is almost a 50% link between eczema & asthma & my SIL has asthma very bad & I pray my son doesn't folllow.
