    Brain music?

Hey ladies. Wasnt sure if I should post this in "Schoolagers" but I thought this would be more apropriate.

My DD is almost 3 and we probably wont be starting in her Preschool til next year but I wanted to start some kind of informal schooling during the day. Mostly just activity and coloring pages and maybe some games. So I have found a ton of free resources online which was great. I wanted to play music while shes doing her activities, like I remember it school, but Im not sure what kind of music I should play. Whats good "brain" music for toddlers? Something thats not too distracting.

I'm not an expert or anything, but I have a couple of thoughts. First, I wouldn't play music all the time. I think our kids are generally overstimulated, and some quiet, peaceful time isn't really a bad thing. Second, I would mix up the music! Play all kinds and see what works best. Don't limit yourself to just kid music, or just classical music... Get on itunes and buy some reggae, some kid-friendly rap, some polka - who knows!! the sky is the limit. the more you expose them to now, the better, I think! Have fun!
