1st round of Clomid/ Prometrium- 38 days out- still negative

I am so confused. This is my 1st round on Clomid. I went in for progesterone count and I O'd just fine. I should've had my period 10 days ago. I'm feeling a bit of nausea, mainly fatigue, some cramping etc. I've taken several pregnancy tests over the last week- all negative. I had a bit of spotting last night.

My Dr. says if they still come out negative after 45 days, to stop the Prometrium (Progesterone) and I should get my period. Should I ask to get a blood test first?

Does Prometrium give you pregnancy like symptoms?

Please help. Any advice would be appreciated.

     Thanks.

Take another pregnancy test. If you haven't got you period yet.  Just be patient it will happen.

    baby_ae,

How are things going?  Did you get a BFP?  I have some questions about Clomid.  My Dr. suggested Clomid if I do not get a BFP soon.  If you wouldn't mind me asking, have you experienced any side effects with the Clomid?  Hot flashes, mood swings, etc?

    Thank you.
