Need some advice from TTC 2+

I know this my not be the right forum for this but I'm far more comfortable with all of you than I am "on the other side" and I've tried posting there but have not gotten any response.  I'm hoping you can help.  DH and I were TTC and were about to start fertility treatments only to find out the week before that we were PG.  Yeah!  However, we have been met with problems and I am very concerned about whether we'll lose the baby.  I have been battling severe endo, polyps and cysts immediately prior to PG.  Have also had prior m/c.  I am currently 8 weeks and was diagnosed with subchorionic hematoma almost 2 weeks ago.  I've had two u/s already and another on Friday.  The bleeding some days is little to none (pantyliner can do it) but other times is not good (need period pads).  Always bright red bleeding vaginally after every BM (sorry if TMI). Some cramping but not too awful.  I'm SO worried!  And not really getting any answers but I don't know what to be asking either.

Have any of you had this?  Has anyone had this and ended with a normal PG, delivery and baby?  What am I up against?  What do I need to be asking my DR? Can any of you lend advice or suggestions?  I'm willing to do whatever it takes to keep this baby.

    Thanks for always being there!

I don't really have any advice, but what you've described does sound scary... I hope everything works out for you! GOOD LUCK!

I'm sorry to hear that you have to go through all of that, and I'm sorry I can't give you any advice as I have never gone through that. I have had two miscarriages but I have also had two normal pregnancies.  I hope everything turns out good for you.  During your ultrasounds did they say that the baby was okay?  I sure hope so.

I had a friend who went through this and delivered a healthy baby girl but she did have periods of bed rest throughout her pregnancy. I know that you are worried about losing your baby but please try to stay positive - I've read a lot on other boards about other women delivering full term babies after being diagnosed with SH.

You also might want to check out his board:

Thank you SO much for your responses!  LoDo Girl, thank you for the recommendation of the board.  I visited the board and found a lot of people in a similar situation with unfortunately, not so great results.  But some did go on to have their babies and that was reassuring.  I am terrified enough to call my doctor tomorrow but this time I actually have some questions to ask.  I need to know how big it is and whether there are any alternatives like blood thinners or something.  Bed rest or something.  I need to be doing more so that we can keep the baby.  Please please please pray for us as we go through this.  It took so long and so much heartache to get to this point of even being pregnant and now this.  I plead with God every day to let us keep the baby.  My heart breaks thinking of the sadness that the loss of this child would cause not only to DH and I but to those around us.  Everyone has been such a great support for us in this process.  I feel so desperate.

I go in on Friday for another u/s.  The last u/s showed the baby's heart rate at 124 which is good.  I'll keep you posted on how that goes and how it goes with my phone call tomorrow with the doctor.  Thank you for being there.  I really need you ladies right now.

Be brave!!! And I agree about staying positive. I know it's so hard, but it's the best you can do right now. Hang in there- we'll be waiting to hear!

Well, I guess God needed another Angel Baby.  SadI went to the ER today because the bleeding was very heavy.  The pelvic exam showed my cervix to still be closed but the u/s showed no fetal heartbeat.  The baby has died.  Likely due to the placement and size of the subchorionic hematoma.  They said I should wait for things to take the natural course and see my doctor again on Friday.  They gave me pain meds but it's hard to tell if they're for physical pain or emotional pain.  CryingBoth hurt right now.  I'm not looking forward to the next few days.  God has a plan and this is part of it.  We will try again but those discussions are some time away yet.  I'm exhausted from the day, the bleeding, the tests, the news, and trying to figure out how to tell people.  It's not possible to hide from this but the thought seems appealing.

    Mike's Girl -

I'm so sorry to hear about your loss!  And please don't feel pressure to jump into the world with your news - you and your husband need time to "be fully human" which almost certainly includes some down time.  Take your time and love each other through this.  I'll be thinking of you both.
