Your Pregnancy: Week 32 for Dad

From no more baby to excess baby mama drama, from losing your job to losing your sanity, your dreams are a fertile field of horror that Romero himself would envy. The endless recounting of Mom’s nightmares may have kept you from expressing your own, but talking about them will actually help relieve some of the anxiety that’s causing them. So make like the Valdez and spill.

And, to take your mind off of those anxiety-induced dreams, how about packing the hospital bags for your partner? She's going to be so busy with labor, she won't have time to dig through her bag for a lip balm refresher, so check out the list of must-haves in Week 32 for Mom and start packing!
Once you have the essentials packed, take some time to pack another bag that will include things both of you may use during and after delivery:

Entertainment -- books, music, DVDs to keep your mind distracted in the early stages of labor. This is also an excellent time to indulge her in tabloids or a little Danielle Steele -- after all, who can concentrate on anything serious (besides the obvious) during labor?

Loose change and a bit of cash -- for the vending machines and parking.

Lotions and potions -- If she keeps lotion on the bedside table, get her a travel size portion of it. If she hasn't packed a shower gel, it might be a nice treat for you to bring one along.

Luxury items -- Similarities aside, this isn't "Survivor," so you aren't limited to just one. It doesn't have to be a toothbrush (though you want to pack one of those as well). Instead, think of an extra pillow or two, massage oils and whatever else she may need to relax. If you want to, spring for a special maternity robe. Unlike her normal robe, this one will actually close around her belly, and the coziness of it will be just what she needs.
