Personal Creations, of Lemont, Illinois, has recalled about 5,500 Red Baby Long Johns. The metal snaps on the long johns can loosen and detach, posing a choking hazard to young children.
The recalled Baby Long Johns are red with snap fasteners down the front and along the legs. A personalized embroidery is stitched across the button-up back flap on the long johns. The long johns were sold by Personal Creations catalog and www.personalcreations.com between September 2006 through January 2007 for about $22 in sizes 6, 12, 18 and 24 months. Personal Creations has received 10 reports of snaps loosening or detaching, but no injuries have been reported.
Consumers should immediately take the long johns from children and contact Personal Creations for more information on receiving a refund or replacement.
